Common misconceptions vs. the facts
There are some widely held beliefs about online gaming that are not accurate. Knowing the facts makes it easier to make informed decisions.
Slot games use an RNG (Random Number Generator) — every spin is completely independent. Previous results have no effect on the next one.
Every round is independent. Past losses do not guarantee future wins — this is known as the 'gambler's fallacy'.
No betting system can eliminate the house edge. Martingale or any other strategy does not protect you from losses in the long run.
The amount you deposit does not change the RTP or your odds of winning — a game's RTP is fixed and remains the same at all bet levels.
Online slots run on servers and the RNG does not change with time. There is no difference between day and night.
The RNG does not look at account age or history. Every round is equally random — the same rules apply to everyone, new or old.
